These corks are superior quality without superior quality pricing!

They are identical to the normal Grade 3 corks, except that they have been sorted to a higher standard (US sorting). The standard Grade 3 corks are packaged through what is called an "AC" sorting. This is the standard sorting and grading procedure for our cork supplier. To create a "US" sorting, a standard lot of Grade 3 corks (AC-sorted) is sorted again to discard the lowest quality 12% of the lot. Therefore, this bag of corks is of typically higher quality and has fewer variations between the lowest and highest quality corks in the package. These corks are a higher level of quality without the large price difference that you would have to pay to upgrade to Grade 2 or Grade 1 corks.
